If you're planning a trip to Cherbourg from the UK, Poole is an excellent option. The port is easily accessible with a choice of routes into town. Excellent trunk road access allows you to arrive from anywhere in the UK with ease.

Getting There

By road: Poole is linked by the A31 to the M27, and from there to the M3 to London. The A350 runs north to Bristol, and the A35 to Dorchester and Exeter. Once in town, drivers are advised to head into the town centre and then follow signs for the port.

St Malo Port Information

St Malo is one of France's leading ports. Served by Brittany Ferries and Condor Ferries it is possible to sail to the UK, Jersey and Guernsey.

St Malo boasts one of Northern France's top tourist attractions "Mont St Michel". This fortified island monastery is well worth visiting. Just remember to check the high tide times!

St Malo is an excellent destination for travellers to Brittany and France's Atlantic coast.

Getting There

St Malo ferry port is easily accessible and well sign posted.

A toll-free dual carriageway, the N137, connects St Malo to the rest of the France. To get to the port, follow signs for St Malo then "Terminal Ferry du Naye".
